Hello readers,
My apologies on the wait for this post. I was somewhat busy at the beginning of the month, and just could not get this written or typed up. Let’s see what pens I am gonna be using for the last little bit of the month.
The first pen that I have in my pen sleeves is my new Benu Talisman Lavender pen. I really enjoy how this pen feels when I am writing for longer periods of time. I currently have it inked with FPR Blue Black. I think that with how loud the pen itself is, having a more business appropriate ink is a good contrast.
My second pen is actually a repeat from last month. This pen would be my shiny black Majohn A1, which is still inked up with Diamine Silver Fox. I really like this combination, but I just didn’t find myself using this pen very much last month.
My third pen is also a repeat, my Monteverde Ritma inked up with Herbin Lie de The. I did use this pen a good amount last month, but with an extra-fine nib, the ink just lasts forever it seems. I am just always surprised at how long a cartirdge can last in this pen!
For my fourth pen I am using a Lamy AL-Star Lilac. This is my first time using an AL-Star for an extended period of time, and I really like how it feels compared to a regular Lamy Safari. Currently I have this pen inked up with Diamine Night Sky, but I am not too sure how I feel about this combination of ink and pen. I am going to use up the whole converter before I decide how I really feel about it.

My fifth and final pen for the month has been a slightly odd one, even for someone ecclectic like me, but I really enjoy both the way it looks and how it feels in my hand. This pen is the Jinhao Shark pen. This is a cute and fun pen to use, and it writes very nicely. I currently have this pen inked up with Diamine Blue Flame. I think this is a good combination of ink and pen.

Those are the pens that I have inked up this month. I quite enjoy how varied this selection of pens is, as it has everything from a very budget friendly priced Jinhao pen to a Benu that costs over a hundred dollars. Speaking of the Benu, my next post is going to be my review of this pen now that I have given it some good use. Until next time readers. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

I think you will really like your AL-Star. I have 3, and they are the pens I use most often. And I like the shark! It’s cute!
