Hello readers,
As I have been struggling to come up with something to write about, I have been watching lots of videos on Youtube and checking other blogs. I came across several posts about what people have inked, including one by Chronicle Of A Fountain Pen, and realized that I haven’t really shared my inked pens with you since starting this blog. I have gathered up the pens that I am using for this month, and I was surprised to see that I have ten pens currently inked.

First up is my Spring green LAMY Safari with a left-handed nib. I love how smoothly this pen just glides across the page no matter what ink I have in it. Currently this pen is inked with Diamine Polar Glow. This combination of pen and ink is really nice even on cheaper paper, as you can still see some of the sheen, but the sheen is even better on nicer paper.

My second pen is the Mango edition of the LAMY Safari with an extra-fine nib. This nib has a little bit more feedback than LAMY’s left-handed nib, but is still very nice to write with. I like this nib because it allows me to write in my usual small cursive. Currently this pen is inked up with another blue ink, this time LAMY Turquoise. I like this color of ink, and I find it to be a drier ink than I usually use, which helps with smudging.

For my third pen this month I have a Pilot Metropolitan in the violet leopard finish, with a fine nib. I find that this pen has about the same feedback as the LAMY extra-fine, but it allows me to write extra small. I currently have this pen inked up with Levenger Amethyst, and this is the pen that currently lives attached to my everyday notebook that I take everywhere with me.

My fourth inked pen is another Pilot Metropolitan with the same fine nib. This time I got the black alligator print. I decided that this is going to be my business pen, so I always have it inked up with a black ink. Currently I have it inked up with Pilot black.

Pen number five for the month is a Majohn A1 capless pen with an extra-fine nib. This one is the shiny black finish with chrome trim, but no clip. I decided that this would be another good pen for more business appropriate uses, so I currently have it inked with FPR blue black. This is the pen that I have been using to copy the first section of my e-book down.
For pen number six I have my second Majohn A1, this time in the matte black clipless version with an extra-fine nib. I currently have this pen inked up with Diamine Purple Pazzazz. In this pen I think the ink looks a lot darker, almost black, but still shows a lot of the shimmer from the ink.

My seventh pen is a Fountain Pen Revolution Himalaya V2 Chrome. I have the amethyst purple finish with a fine nib. I currently have this inked up with Diamine Happy Holidays. It is almost empty already, but since it is one of my newer pens, I am really trying to get used to it so I am going to be refilling it with the Levenger amethyst next.

My eighth pen for the month is an FPR Indus in red, with an extra-fine nib. I decided that this pen needed a good matching red ink, so I currently have it filled with Diamine Writers Blood. I am enjoying this combination of pen and ink, so this is one that I may make semi-permanant.

My ninth pen currently inked up is my Monteverde Ritma with an extra-fine nib. I really enjoy the super fine line that this pens gives me, and for some reason I always find myself inking it with a brown ink of some sort. Right now it is inked wit Herbin Lie de The, which is my favorite brown ink!

My tenth and final inked pen for the month is a Conklin Duragraph Rainbow edition, with their Omni-flex nib. This pen was my first try at using a different style of nib, and while I have since learned that I write too lightly to really get much line variation, I always enjoy writing with it. I tend to keep this pen inked up with a shimmer ink of some sort, as this rainbow pen is a little loud by itself. Currently I have Diamine Night Sky in this pen, and really enjoy using this combination.

So that is the list of pens that I am going to be using this month. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I am using. I am trying this out as a way to actually start cycling through some of my pens a little more often, instead of just keeping the same pens inked all the time. What pens are you using this month? Are you going to try and just use those or are you going to use any pen? Please feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear from you all. Until next time readers. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

I currently have 7 pens inked up. Part of me would like to have fewer inked, but I can’t quite seem to manage that. 6 of those pens are ones I use most of the time, but I would like to cycle through more of the pens I have. Not sure how to do that without just inking up more pens. Guess I’ll have think about it for a while! Maybe watching you cycle through different pens will encourage me!

Wow an impressive collection of inked up pens. I challenged with 4 pens and an Esterbrook mechanical pencil.

Thanks, I like to change the color of what I am writing every few sentences, so I tend to have a lot of pens going at once
