Shaggy's Left Handed Journey In Writing

Hello readers,

Here we are on December fourth, and that means it is day four of the Inkvent calender. I am really looking forward to opening these each day now. After yesteday’s winner of an ink, I am hoping to find more inks that I really want to put in a pen. Now on to the ink of the day

Todays ink is called Masquerade. As you can see from the picture, there was some ink on the outside of bottle. With the ink that was on the bottle I thought it was going to be a green ink of some sort, so I was quite surprised when I put it to paper and realized it was brown with gold shimmer in it. I think this would make a good autumn ink, just because it it seems like a warm color. That said I could also see myself just filling a pen with this because I feel like it.

In many ways this ink reminds me of Diamine’s Cocoa Shimmer, but maybe just a little brighter. It also seems like a shimmery, unscented version of their previous Inkvent ink Pick Me Up. Sadly I don’t have very many brown inks with shimmer in them that I have tried, so I can’t really compare it to too many other inks.
