Hello readers,
Today marks the beginning of the second week of the Inkvent calender. I don’t know about you, but I am really enjoying this event. I am enjoying seeing the new colors and sharing them with all of you. I know we won’t agree on every ink, but that is part of what makes our own journeys so unique. Now let’s see what the ink of the day is.

Today’s ink is called Jacaranda. I hadn’t heard of this before, so I had to look it up to learn that it is a tree with beautiful flowers, and also to make sure that I was going to even be able to spell it correctly! This ink is a very lovely shade of light purple, with some good shading qualities to it. I think that my closest match to this ink would actually be Colorverse Hayabusa; you just have to look beyond the shimmer in it. I think that this a unique purple for my collection, so I don’t have any other purples that really compare to it. I will be inking this up once I am not using two other purples I think.

This ink is one that I really hope becomes a regular ink from Diamine; this is one that I would like to have a bigger bottle of. Have you heard of jacaranda trees? They do look really nice and have some beautiful flowers. I am still trying to come up with my next topic to write about, but I will be back tomorrow with day nine! Until tomorrow friends. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

That is a really pretty color. It makes me think of your Benu Lavender pen. Is that where you would put it or do you think it would go in a different pen? It will be interesting to see what it looks like when you are actually writing with it.

I haven’t really decided what pen I am going to put this in, but that one is definitely a contender
