Hello readers,
Here we are at the start of a new month, which means it is time for me to share what I am writing with this month. I have to admit that I did not do much writing last month, so I am carrying over three of my pens from last last month. Hopefully I will be able to finish all of these pens this month. Now on to the pens for the month.

My first pen from last month is my Benu Lavender Talisman. I thought I had used it more last month, but I still have over half of the converter of Diamine Jacaranda in here. I am still really liking this ink, but I am starting to find myself wanting to write with a darker purple now. I think that I will be able to finish this ink off this month.

For my second pen from last month, I still have my Majohn A1 inked up with Diamine Silver Fox. I had filled a pilot cartridge with this ink, so I knew it would last a good little while. I know that it will require a lot of writing, but I am starting to write a little more, so I am confident that I will be able to finish it off this ink off this month.

My last pen from last month is my Conklin Duragraph with the Omni-Flex nib. I still have a considerable amount of ink considering how wet of a writer this pens writes. I am using Diamine Bah-Humbug in here, and am really liking this ink in here. I have started to find this pen to be a little too heavy for my longer writing sessions.

For my first new pen for the month I picked my black TWSBI Daimond 580 ALR. I am really liking this pen, and wanted to try it with more standard inks. This month I chose the new Lamy ink, Cliff. I really like this ink for a dark blue, and I think this is a good combination of pen and ink. I am still getting used to how wet of a writer this pen is, and it seems like the ink is very wet and flowing as well.

My fifth and final pen for the month is my TWSBI Mini AL in grape. I still carry this pen with me along with my passport Traveller’s Notebook, so this pen is becoming the first pen I reach for. I chose another new ink from Lamy, Blackberry. I love this ink! It really feels like I am writing with crushed blackberries.

That pretty much does it for what I am writing with this month. I will be working on a review of the new Lamy inks coming soon, so be on the lookout for those. I am not too sure what my next post will be about, but I am working on something. Until next time. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

I can understand you wanting to use a darker purple, but Jacaranda really looks like a good match for your BENU. I’ll be interested to see what you think about the Lamy inks. I have Blackberry and really like it.
Are you only inking 5 pens because you really want to finish them all this month, or is there some other reason?

Yeah I mainly wanted to make sure that I got through all of them this month

I too am interested in the Lamy inks as I don’t have any. I keep inking my BENU skull pen – since Halloween with a dried blood red. I do like how it writes.
