Hello readers,
First off I would like to apologize for not posting very much this last month. I have been struggling with the mental gymnastics of things not going very well, but I think that I at least placed in the events but didn’t win. Now we are in April and that means it is time for me to share what I am writing with for the month. I did get all of my pens from last month empty, so the inks will be new ones.

My first pen for the month is one that I haven’t picked up in a little while; my Fountain Pen Revolution Himilaya V2. I had put this pen up for a while because I had been having some leaking issues. Now that I have been able to apply some silicon grease to the threads of the converter and tightened up the nib unit, I have not had the kind of leaking I was having before. I am still getting some slight leaking in the cap, but not consistent leaking. I chose to fill it up with the Truphae exclusive Colorverse ink Beam Me Up. I like this ink a lot, it is dark enough of a purple that it can almost pass for a black one. This ink also has a green sheen to it which can be seen on some papers easier than others. I like this ink quite a bit, and am looking forward to seeing how it writes in othe pens.

For my second pen, I chose to refill my black TWSBI ALR. I chose to use Diamine Night Sky. I chose this ink because this pen seems like a really wet writer, so I wanted to see how it could handle the shimmer particulates. So far it has handled this ink quite well. I haven’t used this combination too much yet, but I think it will be a good one. I really like being able to watch the shimmer appear as the ink dries on the page.

My third pen for this month is my Benu Lavender Talisman. I love this pen so much that it is hard for me to put it up for any period of time. This month I chose another ink that is new to me, Wearingeul Frankenstein. I like this ink quite a bit. It is a lighter shade than Beam Me Up, but darker than my recent purple inks. I think that I could easily add this to my favorite purple inks.

My fourth and final pen for the month is my TWSBI Mini AL in Grape. I decided to double down on Colorverse Beam Me Up, and put that in here. I think that I like it better in a drier writing pen like this one. Even though there is a lot less ink going down on the page, it is still a very dark purple.

That does it for the pens that I am using this month. I am just putting the finishing touches on my review for the Lamy Cliff ink, so that should be coming in the next few days. I am also going to be working on reviews for both of my new inks from this month, so be on the look out for that soon. Until next time friends. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

I really like all four of those pens! Sorry last month wasn’t a winner, but I’m glad you are back!
