Hello readers,
Today I wanted to share my thoughts on my newest pen and nib. I was offered a chance to get a new pen from Fountain Pen Revolution, a Himilaya V1. I decided this was the right time to try a new nib, a 1.0mm stub. I am going to share my thoughts on both this pen model and the nib that I got on it. Now on to the pen!

I have gotten a few other pens from FPR, but I always had issues with them. I was worried that I would have more leaking issues when I got this pen, but I have had no issues with it at all. I was even prepared to put some extra silicon grease on the inner workings, but I haven’t had to do that at all. I would highly recommend trying one of these pens if you get a chance to.

I have been thinking of trying some new nibs, but I have been worried that I wouldn’t be able to write as small as I usually do. I finally chose a stub nib, and a 1.0m one just to try and make sure I could still write smaller. I was still worried about the size of my writing with this pen, but I have been able to alternate between writing as small as I like and writing larger. I have become quite happy with this nib and think that other lefties could benefit from trying it.

That pretty much sums up my thoughts on this pen and nib. This is probably one of the biggest steps outside of my comfort zone that I have taken. I am real glad that I took this step. Have you ever stepped out of your comfort zone when it comes to pens? I think that my next post will be a new ink review, but I have not quite decided which one to write about yet. Until next time my friends. Stay happy and healthy, and keep on learning!

A medium nib is as wild as I have gotten! I used to love nibs above all else, but I’ve learned that there is so much more than just the nib size involved in what the writing looks like. You may have inspired me to try a stub. I’ll give it some thought, for sure!
